I am afraid to travel alone

As a military spouse, with a career as a data analyst is hard to synchronize schedules and plan trips ahead of time, without some flexibility. I have visit most of the places I have been as a solo traveler, people will ask me: Are you not afraid? Don't you get bored of traveling alone? The answers to those questions are No and No. Traveling solo is a different experience that allows you to immerse in the culture, understand what you like, what you don't like and have other kind of experience versus when you travel with your partner or with your family.

Some of the activities I enjoy as a solo traveler are:

  • Visit Art Museums

  • Immersive Experiences

  • Amusement Parks (You can enjoy those single riders line, if they are available)

  • Food Tours

  • Shopping

Do not be afraid to enjoy some time for you and really know what you like and do not like. The first country in the list that I recommend as a solo traveler is Japan! The restaurant layouts and culture are made for solo travelers and introvert people, follow for more.
